"Rittai
Expo '07 (Stereoscopic Image Industry Exhibition 2007),
organized by the Consortium of 3-D Image Business Promotion
and including the participation by the 3D Consortium,
was held for three days from December 5 (Wed) to December
7 (Fri) at Pacifico Yokohama. We continued participation
this year by installing a 3D Consortium booth. Four
member companies jointly exhibited at the booth.
According to the announcement by organizers, 3,229 persons
visited there over three days.

* Exhibit (1): "A globe-shaped display- 'The
Magic Planet'
- A spherical-shaped display which is appropriate
for displaying information in a globular shape.
* Exhibit (2): "SmartCollision Studio"
- An interference determination simulation system
by using an inner force sense input and output device.
>>Hit Design (a member of Stereo Club)
* Exhibit: "HOLOBLADE"
- A mirror-type stereoscope. A portable stereoscope
which can be folded and allows views of wide-shaped
3D photos and images.
>>Netdimension Corporation
* Exhibit: "MatrixEngine"
- An authoring tool which can develop 3D multimedia
such as HMI and communities from Web (PC) to built-in.
>>CyVerse Corp.
* Exhibit: "A high definition intelligent stereo
camera, "Centaur S5000IIK"
- (1) Twin-camera which generates images processed
as stereoscopic images, (2) detection of static
three dimensional objects without using motion change,
(3) can easily accommodate changes in the environment
because it uses three dimensional information, (4)
can be used for detection of humans, counting the
number of persons, detection of suspicious individuals,
traffic line analysis and amusement.
