The Study Session was jointly organized by the Live Action WG and the Technology Investigation WG at the Elm Hall of Sharp's Ichigaya Building on June 15.
"Digital Cinema," which has been a popular topic recently, was taken up as a theme. Mr. Hiroshi Yasuda (Director, Center for Collaborative Research, Tokyo University) was invited to speak about the "Development Project of Common Specifications for Digital Cinema" as the representative of the Digital Cinema Standardization Project. In addition, lectures about technologies, content and markets for Digital Cinema were held.
There were 24 members at the study session for a total of 58 people attending.
